COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE ES-210 Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. Sections 92-4 and 92-5(a)(4), the purpose of this executive session is to consult and discuss with the County's legal counsel on the lawsuit, of lone C. Lum v. liaua'i County Council, et al., Civ. No. 06-00068 S(_)M/BMIi (U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii) and related matters. This consultation involves consideration of the powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and/or liabilities of the Council and the County as they relate to this agenda item. Committee Meeting Agenda 8 March 15, 2006 ES-211 Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. Sections 02-4, and 02-5(a)(4), the purpose of this executive session is to consult and discuss with the County's legal counsel on the lawsuit, Clanton Arinaea v. County of Iiaua`i, et a~ Civ. No. 06-1-0016 (5th Circuit Court) and related matters. This consultation involves consideration of the powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and/or liabilities of the Council and the County as they relate to this agenda item. ES-212 Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. Sections 92-4, and 92-5(a)(4) the purpose of this executive session is to consult and discuss with and obtain a recommendation from the County's legal counsel and Police Chief on the organization and staffing of the Vice unit and the criminal investigation of the Kauai Police Department Vice Unit officers being conducted by the State of Hawaii Department of Attorney General. This consultation involves consideration of the powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and/or liabilities of the Council and the County as they relate to this agenda item.
