(e) ACTIONS OF THE DIRECTOR:
(1) DA KINE WINE: Approval of special request to conduct wine tastings
on August 7 & August 14, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
(2) DUKE'S CANOE CLUB: Approval of special request for temporary
increase of premises to include the grass area fronting the restaurant,
per diagram submitted, on August 12, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
(3) KAUAI MARRIOTT RESORT: Approval of special request for
temporary decrease of premises by excluding the grass area fronting
Duke's Canoe Club, per diagram submitted, on August 12, 2010 from
5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
(4) MERRIMAN'S KAUAI: Approval of special request for temporary
increase of premises to include the courtyard area, per diagram
submitted, on August 4, August 11, August 18, and August 25, 2010
from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
(5) THE ST. REGIS PRINCEVILLE RESORT: Approval of off-premise
catering function on August 8, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 4101
Wailapa Road, Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii.
(6) NATIONAL TROPICAL BOTANICAL GARDEN: Approval of
Application No. Free 2011-06 filed on July 29, 2010 by the National
Tropical Botanical Garden for a Free One-Day Special Dispenser Beer
& Wine license on August 21, 2010 at the National Tropical Botanical
Garden's "McBryde Garden Orchard Field", 3530 Papalina Road,
Kalaheo, Kauai, Hawaii.
(f) INFORMATIONAL MATTERS.
2. SPECIAL REQUESTS:
(a) KALAHEO STEAK & RIBS: Permanent increase of premises to include the
adjacent room, per diagram submitted.
(b) PRINCEVILLE RESTAURANT & BAR: Permanent decrease of premises by
excluding the restaurant and cafe, per diagram submitted, pending issuance
of Restaurant General license to Hawaiian Island Taverns LLC dba The
Tavern at Princeville by Roy Yamaguchi.

3. DOWNGRADE OF LICENSE:
PRINCEVILLE RESTAURANT & BAR: Downgrade of Restaurant General
License No. 2G-018 issued to Princeville Prince Golf Course, LLC dba Princeville
Restaurant & Bar to a Dispenser General license when the permanent decrease
of premises to exclude the restaurant and cafe takes place and a new Restaurant
General license is issued to Hawaiian Island Taverns LLC dba The Tavern at
Princeville by Roy Yamaguchi.
4. VIOLATION REPORTS:
(a) NAWILIWILI TAVERN: Violation of Sec. 281-31(f)(1), HRS, Licenses,
classes.
(b) ICHIBAN SUSHI & BAR: Violation of:
•Count 1. Rule 4.7(a)(1), Gross liquor sales report, percentage fee and records.
•Count 2. Violation of Rule 7.9(d), Manager registration.
(c) THRIFTY MINI MART: Violation of:
•Count 1. Rule 4.7(a)(1), Gross liquor sales report, percentage fee and records.
•Count 2. Violation of Rule 10.3(b), Manager registration.
(d) KAPAA CHEVRON: Violation of Rule 10.3(b), Manager registration.
(e) LIHUE CHEVRON: Violation of Rule 10.3(b), Manager registration.
(f) RICE ST. CHEVRON: Violation of Rule 10.3(b), Manager registration.
(g) KOLOA TOWN CHEVRON: Violation of Rule 10.3(b), Manager registration.
ADJOURNMENT.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. ("H.R.S.") §92-7(a), the
Commission may, when deemed necessary, hold an executive session on any agenda
item without written public notice if the executive session was not anticipated in
advance. Any such executive session shall be held pursuant to H.R.S. §92-4 and
shall be limited to those items described in H.R.S. §92-5(a).
