1. DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
(a) INVESTIGATORS' REPORTS.

(e) ACTIONS OF THE DIRECTOR:
(1) DA KINE WINE: Approval of special request to conduct wine tastings
on September 4 & September 11, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
(2) LIVING FOODS MARKET & CAFE: Approval of special request to
conduct sampling of 4 varieties of wine, per list and diagram
submitted, on September 17, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and as
provided by Rule 2.13(e), exception to sample serving size of no more
than 2 ounces of each variety of wine equaling 8 ounces in total per
customer is approved.
(3) WAIMEA BREWING COMPANY: Approval of special request for
temporary increase of premises to include the lawn area, per diagram
submitted, on September 10 & September 11, 2010 from 4:30 p.m. to
1100 P.M.
(4) THE WINE GARDEN: Approval of special request to conduct
sampling of 6 varieties of beer, per list, on September 18, 2010 from
4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and as provided by Rule 2.13(e), exception to
sample serving size of no more than 2 ounces of each variety of beer
equaling 12 ounces in total per customer is approved.
(5) KVMH CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, INC.: Approval of Application
No. Free 2011-07 filed on August 30, 2010 by the KVMH Charitable
Foundation, Inc. for a Free One-Day Dispenser Beer & Wine license on
September 18, 2010 at the Kauai Coffee Visitors Center, Eleele, Kauai,
Hawaii.
(6) WALDRON NORTON LILLY INTERNATIONAL, LLC: Approval of
Application Nos. 2011-17 and 2011-18 filed on August 30, 2010 by
Waldron Norton Lilly International, LLC for Transient Vessel licenses
on September 21, 2010 and September 28, 2010 aboard the Carnival
Spirit while docked at Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai, Hawaii.
(7) AVS CONSULTING: Approval of Application No. 2011-20 filed on
September 8, 2010 by Anne V. Stevens dba AVS Consulting for a
Transient Vessel license on September 27, 2010 aboard the Rhapsody
of the Seas while docking at Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai, Hawaii.

2. VIOLATION REPORT:
OLYMPIC CAFE: Violation of Rule 7.13, Fight and disturbance reports.
3. CANCELLATION OF LICENSE:
PAR 4 DA COURSE: Cancellation of Restaurant General License No. 2G-063
issued to Par 4 Da Course, Inc. dba Par 4 Da Course effective August 27, 2010.
4. SOLICITOR'S PERMITS:
(a) BRYAN M. ADACHI: Application No. 2011-19 was filed on August 31,
2010 by Bryan Mitsuru Adachi for a Solicitor's Permit in the County of
Kauai to represent Nishimoto Trading Co., Ltd., a Wholesale Dealer
General licensee in the City & County of Honolulu. Deposited $180.
(b) JOHN W. GAMPLE: Application No. 2011-21 was filed on
September 9, 2010 by John W. Gample for a Solicitor's Permit in the
County of Kauai to represent Allied Importers & Wholesalers, a Wholesale
Dealer General licensee in the City & County of Honolulu. Deposited $180.
5. STATE CONFERENCE STATUS REPORT.
ADJOURNMENT.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. ("H.R.S.") §92-7(a), the
Commission may, when deemed necessary, hold an executive session on any agenda
item without written public notice if the executive session was not anticipated in
advance. Any such executive session shall be held pursuant to H.R.S. §92-4 and
shall be limited to those items described in H.R.S. §92-5(a).
