HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-13-2010-Doc15965 MINUTE S PUBLIC WORKS/ELDERLY AFFAIRS CONIIVIITTEE January 13, 2010 A meeting of the Public Works/Elderly Affairs Committee of the Council of the County of Kaua`i, State of Hawai`i, was called to order by Councilmember Tim Bynum, Chair, at the Historic County Building, Room 201, Lihu`e, Kaua`i, on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at 3:00 p.m., after which the following members answered the call of the roll: Honorable Tim Bynum Honorable Dickie Chang . Honorable Jay Furfaro Honorable Daryl W. Kaneshiro Honorable Derek S. K. Kawakami , Honorable Bill "Kaipo" Asing, Ex-Officio Member Honorable Lani T. Kawahara, Ex-Officio Member TIM BYNUM: I call to order this meeting of the Public Works/Elderly Affairs Committee. Let the record reflect that all members are present and this Committee will be held in recess until later today. There being no objections, the Committee recessed at 3:00 p.m. The Committee reconvened at 3:27 p.m., and proceeded as follows: Minutes of the December 9, 2009 Public Works/Elderly Affairs Committee Meeting. DICHIE CHANG: So moved. DARYL W. KANESHIRO: Seconded. Mr. Bynum: All those in favor? Committee Members: Aye. Upon motion duly made by Councilmember Chang, and seconded by Councilmember Kaneshiro, and unanimously carried, the Minutes of the December 9, 2009 Public Works/Elderly Affairs Committee Meeting was approved. Mr. Bynum: Seeing none opposed, motion carries and if the clerk can read Bill 2332. The Committee proceeded on its agenda items as follows, and as shown in the following Committee reports which are incorporated herein by reference: CR PWE 2010-01: on Bill No. 2332 A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT CHAPTER 12, AR,TICLE 6, KAUA`I COUNTY CODE 1987 RELATING TO THE ENERGY CODE [This item was Approved as Amended.] ~ i There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:35p.m. Respectfully submitted, d a1U1LU 44M (rm r/L,L Darrellyne M.
