BUDGET & FINANCE COMNIITTEE
May 27, 2009
A meeting of the Budget & Finance Committee of the Council of the County
of Kaua`i, State of Hawai`i, was called to order by Councilmember Daryl W.
Kaneshiro, Chair, at the Historic County Building, Room 201, Lihu`e, Kaua`i, on
Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at 9:34 a.m., after which the following members
answered the call of the roll:

Making Meeting
Minutes of the May 13, 2009 Budget & Finance Committee Meeting
Minutes of the May 21, 2009 Special Budget & Finance Committee Meeting
Upon motion duly made by Councilmember Furfaro, seconded by
Councilmember Kawakami, and unanimously carried, the Minutes of the
FY 2009-2010 Budget Deliberation and Preliminary Decision-Making
Meeting, the Minutes of the May 13, 2009 Budget & Finance Committee
Meeting, and the Minutes of the May 21, 2009 Special Budget & Finance
Committee Meeting were approved.
The Committee proceeded on its agenda items as shown in the following
Committee reports which are incorporated herein by reference:
CR-B&F 2009-17: on Bill No. 2312 A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
CHAPTER 17A, KAUA`I COUNTY CODE
1987, ,AS AMENDED, RELATING TO BUS
FARES FOR THE COUNTY BUS SYSTEM
[Approved as amended.]
CR-B&F 2009-18: on Bill No. 2313 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. B-2008-672 AS
AMENDED, RELATING TO THE
OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY
OF KAUA`I, STATE OF HAWAI`I, FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR, JULY 1, 2008 THROUGH
JUNE 30, 2009, BY REVISING THE
SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS
ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND
