HomeMy WebLinkAboutBILL 2320 NOTICE OF PUBLICATION/NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (input sheet) NOTICE OF PUBLICATION AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Council of the, County of Kauai will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at 1:30 p.m., or soon thereafter, at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Room 201, Historic County Building, Lihu`e, on the following: BILL NO. 2320 ~ ~- This Bill proposes to amend Chapter 19, Kauai County ~.od~er 19$.7 as amended, relating to Public Parks and Recreation, by reinstat~ti~prohib€ition that expired December 2002 of possessing or consuming any ~~b~ic~trr'ig~i llq`uor between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., provided that this section shall not apply to campers with valid camping permits in Sec. 19-1.4(a)(20). This bill further deletes the expiration clause in Sec. 19-1.4(e). A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 19, KA `I COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC PARKS AND RECREATION '09 Jl1L 27 ~i11 ;~~ All interested persons who wish to present their comments may do so at the public hearing. Written testimonies prior to the hearing would be appreciated. Copies of the proposed ordinances are available at the Office of the County Clerk, Council Services Division. (The Council Committee or Council may amend this Bill at its subsequent meetings. Meeting notices are posted at -least 6 days in advance at the County Clerk's Office and the public may also testify at any of these meetings.)
