Notice is hereby given that the Council of the County of Kauai will h~ c~ u~~~
hearing on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 1:30 p.m., or soon thereafter,, at Q~~~l ~`~~~~
Chambers, 3371-A Wilcox Road, Lihu`e, on the following:
BILL NO. 2365 •~
A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21-1.3, SECTION f 21-2.1,
SECTION 21-2.2, SECTION 21-3.2, SECTION 21-3.3, SECTION 21-7.3, AND
SECTION 21-9.1 OF THE KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, RELATING TO
INTEGRATED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
This Bill proposes to amend Sections 21-1.3, 21-2.1, 21-2.2, 21-3.2, 21-3.3, 21-7.3,
and Section 21-9.1 of Chapter 21 of the Kauai County Code 1987, as amended, as it relates
to Integrated Solid Waste. This bill provides amendments to include adding the definitions
of homestay, pet animal, pet animal waste, transient vacation rental, and timeshare unit.
This bill further adds Automated Refuse Collection as a new solid waste program.
All interested persons who wish to present their comments may do so at the
public hearing. Written testimonies prior to the hearing would be appreciated.
Copies of the proposed ordinances are available at the Office of the County Clerk,
Council Services Division.
(The Council Committee or Council may amend these Bills at its subsequent
meetings. Meeting notices are posted at least 6 days in advance at the County Clerk's
Office and the public may also testify at any of these meetings.)
