B-2010-706 AS AMENDED, 'RELATING TO THE CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011, BY REVISING THE SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND ($70,000.00 - Hanapepe Bridge Pedestrian Walkway Repairs) This bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. B-2010-706, as amended, relating to the Capital Budget of the County of Kauai, State of Hawaii, for the fiscal year July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, by revising the surplus and appropriations estimated in the General Fund by appropriating $70,000 from surplus estimated in the General Fund for the Hanapepe Bridge Pedestrian Walkway Repairs Project ($70,000.00). This appropriation provides additional matching funds for the Hanapepe Walkway and Bridge Improvement Project. Currently, $29,539.00 is budgeted in the Bond Fund-CIP as matching for this project. BILL NO. 2370 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. B-2010-705 AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011, BY REVISING THE SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND ($76,000.00 -Contribution to Solid Waste Fund) This Bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. B-2010-705, as amended, relating to the Operating Budget of the County of Kauai, State of Hawaii, for the fiscal year July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, by revising the surplus and appropriations estimated in the General Fund by appropriating $76,000 to the Solid Waste Fund for the following purpose: Routing Software License $40,000.00 (3) Servers $18,000.00 - Training & Implementation $10,000.00 Annual Maintenance and Tech Support $8,000.00 This appropriation will be utilized to support the Automated Refuse Collection project. BILL NO. 2371 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. B-2010-706 AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII, ,FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011, BY REVISING THE SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND ($400,000.00 - Project Contingency) , This bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. B-2010-706, as amended, relating to the Capital Budget of the County of Kauai for the fiscal year July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, by revising the surplus and appropriations estimated in the J ' . This bill further appropriates $400,000 to the Project Contingency account - CIP General Fund as Project Contingency funds were previously transferred for equipment for 'the . Historic County Building Renovation project. BILL NO. 2372 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. B-2010-705 AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE. 30, 2011, BY REVISING THE SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND ($822,391.00 -Solid Waste Fund; $603,121.00 -Sewer Fund) This bill proposes to amend the Operating Budget of the County of Kauai, State of Hawaii for the fiscal year -July 1, 2010 -June 30, 2011, by revising the surplus and appropriations estimated in the General Fund by appropriating $822,391.00 to the Solid Waste Fund and $603,121.00 to the Sewer Fund for Debt Service costs that were incurred for specific projects (Solid Waste projects and Sewer projects) that were part of the County of Kauai's 2010 Bond Issuance as identified on Ordinance No. 891. The respective amounts were budgeted in the debt service account in the General Fund. BILL NO. 2373 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. B-2010-705 AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011, BY REVISING THE SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND ($200,000.00 - Sewer Fund, `Ele`ele Main Replacement, Waialo Road & Highway) This bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. B-2010-705, as amended, relating to the Operating Budget of the County of Kauai for the fiscal year July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, by revising the surplus and appropriations estimated in the General Fund by $200,000. This bill also appropriates $200,000.00 from the General Fund to the Sewer Fund for the construction of the replacement sewer line at the intersection of Waialo Road and Kaurnuali`i Highway. BILL NO. 2374 A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. B-2010-705 AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011 BY REVISING THE SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS ESTIMATED TN THE GENERAL FUND ($95,000.00 -Solid Waste-Host Community Benefit (CAC Process)) This Bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. B-2010-705, as amended, relating to the Operating Budget of the County of Kauai, State of Hawaii, for the fiscal year July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, by revising the surplus and appropriations estimated in the General Fund by appropriating $95,000 to the Solid Waste Fund for the following purpose: Solid Waste -Host Community Benefit (CAC Process) (Expand current survey, facilitating services for the Citizen's Advisory Committee meetings, and producing a report.) $95,000.00 (not to exceed) ,.. ., BILL NO. 2375 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. B-2010-706, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011 BY REVISING THE BUDGET PROVISIONS (Kekaha Host Community Benefits accrued interest account) This Bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. B-2010-706, as amended, relating to the Capital Budget of the County of Kauai, State of Hawaii, for the fiscal year July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, by inserting a new Section 11 to the Budget Provision and renumbering all subsequent sections accordingly. "SECTION 11. Pursuant to Section 19.15(B), Charter of the County of Kauai, the Director of Finance is authorized to utilize accrued interest from the Kekaha Host Community Benefits (HCB) account for the Kekaha HCB grant program." This provision authorizes the Director of Finance to accrue and utilize interest from the Kekaha Host Community Benefits account for the sole purpose of the Kekaha Host Community Benefits grant program. All interested persons who wish to present their comments may do so at the public hearing. Written testimonies prior to the hearing would be appreciated. Copies of the proposed ordinances are available at the Office of the County Clerk, Council Services Division. (The Council Committee or Council may amend these Bills at its subsequent meetings.
