Notice is hereby given that the Councff of the County of Kaua`i~
will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at 1:30
p.m., or soon thereafter, at the Council Chambers, 4396
Rice Street, Room 201, Historic County Building, Lihu`e, on the
following: ,
BILL NO. 2340
A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ZONING DESIG-
NATIONS INORDINANCE NO. PM-229-91; KILAUEA, KAUAI
(County of Kauai, Applicant).
This bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. PM-229-91, relating to
zoning designation of property. located in Kilauea, Kauai, as fol-
. lows:,

TO: "Open (O) Zoning District" and "Agriculture (A) Zoning

Pursuant to Condition No. 4 of Ordinance No. PM-229-91, j
the Planning Department has determined that substantial
construction (as required by Ordinance No. PM-229-91) has not
occurred, and as a result, the Planning Department has initiated
proceedings to redesignate the property back to its prior land use
designation.
All interested persons who wish to present their comments may
do so at the public hearing. Written testimonies prior to the
hearing would be appreciated. Copies of the proposed ordinances
are available at.the Office of the County, Clerk, Councff Services
Division.
(The Council Committee or Council may amend this Bill at its
subsequent meetings. Meoting notices are posted at least 6 days
in advance at the County Clerk's Office and the public may also
testify at any of these meetings.)
