NOTICE OF PUBLICATION AND NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the County of Kauai
will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at
1:30 p.m., or soon thereafter, at the Council Chambers, 3371-A
Wilcox Road, Lihue, on the following:
Bill No. 2368
A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINA
NO. B-'2010-705, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KA
STATF. OF HAWAII. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1,
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011, BY REVISING THE SURI
AND APPROPRIATIONS ESTIMATED IN THE GENI
FUND ($220,000 -Council Serviced
The purpose of this bill is to amend Ordinance No. B-2010-
relating to the Operating Budget of the County of Kauai,
revising the surplus and appropriations estimated in the Gem
Fund, by appropriating X220,000 to the Office of the County Cl
-Council Services Division.
The funding requested will be utilized fm• unanticipated c~
associated with the Council's building lease for its office sF
located on Wilcox Road, the lease of the public restroom faci]
relocation expenses and other operational costs associated v
the Historic County Building renovation.
All interested persons who wish to present their comme~
may do so at the public hearing. Written testimonies prior to 1
hearing would be appreciated. Copies of the proposed ordinal
are available at the Office of the County Clerk, Council Servi
Division.
(The Council Committee or Council may amend this Bill at
subsequent meetings. Meeting notices are posted at least 6 d;
in advance at the County Clerk's Office and the public may a
testify at any of these meetings.)
