BUDGET & FINANCE COMMITTEE
November 25, 2009
A meeting of the Budget & Finance Committee of the Council of the
County of Kaua`i, State of Hawai`i, was called to order by Councilmember
Daryl W. Kaneshiro, Chair, at the Historic County Building, Room 201, Lihu`e,
Kaua`i, on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at 9:09 a.m., after which the following
members answered the call of the roll:
Honorable Bill "Kaipo" Asing
Honorable Tim Bynum
Honorable Dickie Chang
Honorable Jay Furfaro
Honorable Daryl W. Kaneshiro
Honorable Lani T. Kawahara
Honorable Derek S. K. Kawakami
EXCUSED: Honorable Jay Furfaro (present at 10:40 a.m.)
The Committee proceeded on its agenda items as shown in the following
Committee reports which are incorporated herein by reference:
CR-B&F 2009-22: on Bill No. 2333 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. B-2009-691, AS AMENDED, RELATING
TO THE CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE
COUNTY OF KAUA`I, STATE OF HAWAI`I,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2009
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2010, BY REVISING
THE SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS
ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND
($150,000 - Kapa`a -Wailua Development
Plan)
[Approved.]
There being no objections, the Committee recessed at 9:10 a.m.
The Committee reconvened at 1:38 p.m:, and proceeded as follows:
CR-B&F 2009-23: on Bill No. 2334 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. B-2009-691, AS
AMENDED, RELATING TO THE CAPITAL
BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUA`I,
STATE OF HAWAI`I, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR JULY 1, 2009 THROUGH JUNE 30,
2010, BY REVISING THE SURPLUS AND
APPROPRIATIONS ESTIMATED IN THE
