The department's total expenditures plus encumbrances to date is 48%, slightly below the 50% budget to date. Chiefs Office The year-to-clate expenditures for the Chief s Office are 48%, mainly due to Payroll and Fringe Benefits. Salaries are at4596 and overtime isrunning about 74% at the half year point, Administrative and Technical Bureau Administrative and Technical Bureau is reflecting 42% of budget expended. The Bureau's main concentration has been recruitment for the past few months. Conditional offers went out for rd both Crossing Guards and Dispatchers. Radio Dispatchers target start date is January] , pending physicals and drug testing. Recruitment will continue in order to fill vacancies inthe department. Investigative Services Bureau Investigative Service Bureau breflecting 3996of budget expended. A large contributor tothe a overtinneis the 2 nrnurdarinvestigationoftheyear. Patrol Services Bureau Patrol Service Bureau is reflecting 7Q96of budget expended. PS8 has diligently either purchased or encumbered all major purchases for this fiscal year.
