C 2012-19 Communication (01/05/2012) from Councilmember Bynum, transmitting for Council consideration, a proposal amending Chapter 5A, Kaua'i County Code 1987, as amended, relating to home exemptions. The proposal would raise the permanent home exemption in Section 5A-11.4(a) from $48,000.00 to $225,000.00 for all homeowners, with an increase to $250,000.00 for those sixty years of age and above, and an increase to $275,000.00 for those seventy years of age and above.
