Minutes of June 4, 2012 Mr. De Costa moved to approve the minutes as Minutes circulated. Mr. Lizama seconded the motion. Hunt - Burmeister Family Trust—TMK 5-8-008-039-0000 Mr. Klaus Burmeister was in attendance to provide evidence for both appeals. Mr. Hunt was in attendance and presented his reports to the Board. Mr. Lizama moved to sustain the County's assessment in Appeal Case No. 12-0000164. Mr. Diogo seconded the motion. Motion carried 5:0 Appeal Case No. 12-0000009 - S.Hunt- David A Kingston—TMK 5-1-005-047-0002 Mr. Hunt noted there was an agreement on the stipulated value. Board of Review Open Session June 15, 2012 Page 5 SUBJECT DISCUSSION ACTION Mr. K ono moved to approve the stipulation. Mr. Lizama seconded the motion. Motion carried 5:0 Annual Report Discussion of Board of Review Annual Report for 2011 Mr. De Costa provided the Board with a draft of the 2011 Annual Report and a copy of the 2010 Report for reference. In item 2, Mr. De Costa said he would like to insert the words the County's assessment of to reflect which side the Board's decision was on with the sustained appeals,adjustments, and so forth. The recommendations the Board made last year were incorporated into Ordinance 920 which takes effect for tax year 2013. There is only one area that was not addressed by the changes and that is the annual report and what the Board is supposed to do to prepare for the annual report. Mr. De Costa moved to defer the Report to the next meeting. Mr. Lizama seconded the motion. Motion carried 5:0 Board Rules Discussion on Status of Updating Board Rules Mr. De Costa moved to defer updating the Board Rules to the next meeting due to the excused absence of Deputy Attorney Winn. Mr. Lizama seconded the motion.
