HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2010-53COUNTY COUNCIL COUNTY OF KAUAI C$OYiItiDTI ~~. ~~~~_=3 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4 (1988)DELETING AND ESTABLISHING SCHOOL BUS STOP IN THE KAWAIHAU DISRICT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII:Section 1. The purpose of this resolution is to eliminate a school bus stop established by Resolution No. 4 (1988) and to establish a new school bus stop in the Kawaihau District.Section 2. That the existing school bus stop located on the westerly shoulder of Molo Street approximately 400 feet south of its intersection with Alahele Street,established by Resolution No. 4 (1988), Kawaihau District, is hereby repealed.Section 3. That a new school bus stop be established and made official at the following location as shown on the attached Exhibit "A,"KAWAIHAU DISTRICT On the westerly shoulder of Molo Street approximately 40 feet south of its intersection with Iliki Street.Section 4. The County Engineer shall remove the existing school bus stop sign at the location described in Section 2 above and post a new school bus stop sign at the location described in Section 3 above.Section 5. Any person convicted of violating any provision relating to school bus stops, Section 16-14.1, 6-14.2, Chapter 16, Kauai County Code 1987, shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in Section 16-21.8, Chapter 16 of said Code.Section 6.
