(e) ACTIONS OF THE DIRECTOR:
(1) BIG SAVE ELEELE: Approval of special request to alter premises by
removing the old customer service office and constructing a new
customer service center, per floor plan submitted.
(2) FOODLAND SUPER MARKET-KAPAA: Approval of special request to
conduct wine tastings, as listed and per diagram submitted, on
February 5 & February 26, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
(3) FOODLAND SUPER MARKET-PRINCEVILLE: Approval of special
requests to conduct wine tasting on February 12, 2013 and wine and
distilled spirit tasting, as listed and per diagram submitted, on
March 5, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
(4) MERRIMAN'S KAUAI: Approval of special request for temporary
increase of premises to include the Palm Court on February 6, 13, 20,
27 and March 6 & 13, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
(5) PONO MARKET: Approval of special request to conduct wine tasting,
as listed and per diagram submitted, on February 2, 2013 from 5:00
p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
(6) PRINCEVILLE WINE MARKET: Approval of special request for
temporary increase of premises to include the walkway fronting the
store, Units B101 and B102, per diagram submitted, and conduct wine
tasting, as listed and per diagram submitted, on February 2 and
March 23, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
(7) THE WINE GARDEN: Approval of special request to conduct sampling
of 6 varieties of wine, as listed, on January 26, 2013 from 3:30 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. and as provided by Rule 2.13(e), exception to sample serving
size of no more than 1 ounce of each variety of wine equaling 6 ounces
in total per customer is approved.
(8) THE WINE SHOP: Approval of special request to conduct sampling of
4 varieties of wine, as listed, on February 2, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. and as provided by Rule 2.13(e), exception to sample serving size of
no more than 11/4 ounces of each variety of wine equaling 5 ounces in
total per customer is approved.
(9) KILOHANA: Approval of Application Nos. 2013-80, 2013-81 and
2013-82 filed on January 11, 2013 for Special General licenses on
January 19, 2013 at Kipu Ranch, 245 Kipu Road, Lihue, on
January 21, 2013 at Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens, 4101 Wailapa
Road, Kilauea, and on January 28, 2013 at the Bali Built Estate, 5880
Kahiliholo Road, Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii.

(11) SAVE THE HONEYBEE FOUNDATION: Approval of Application
No. Free 2013-34 filed on January 23, 2013 by Save the Honeybee
Foundation for a Free One-Day Special Dispenser Beer & Wine
license on January 24, 2013 at the Olana Organic Farm, 7467 Koolau

2013-35 filed on January 23, 2013 by the Kauai Veterans Museum

2013-36 filed on January 31, 2013 by the Rotary Club of West Kauai
for a Free One-Day Special Retail Dealer General license on

(14) ZONTA CLUB OF KAUAI FOUNDATION: Approval of Application
No. Free 2013-37 filed on February 1, 2013 by the Zonta Club of Kauai

on February 8, 2013 at the Kauai Beach Resort Jasmine Ballroom,

(15) KAUAI BEACH RESORT: Approval of special request for temporary
decrease of premises by excluding the silent auction area in the
Jasmine Ballroom, per diagram submitted, on February 8, 2013 from
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and allow retail liquor sales by the Zonta Club
of Kauai Foundation at its fundraising event during the above date
and time.

WESLEY A. SAKAMOTO: Application No. 2013-83 was filed on January 23,
2013 by Wesley A. Sakamoto for a Solicitor's General Permit in the County of
Kauai to represent The Cherry Co., Ltd., a Wholesale Dealer General licensee in
the City & County of Honolulu. Deposited $180.
ADJOURNMENT.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. ("H.R.S.") §92-7(a),the Commission
may, when deemed necessary, hold an executive session on any agenda item without written
public notice if the executive session was not anticipated in advance. Any such executive
session shall be held pursuant to H.R.S. §92-4 and shall be limited to those items described in
H.R.S. §92-5(a).
