(e) ACTIONS OF THE DIRECTOR:
(1) LIVING FOODS MARKET: Approval of special request to conduct
sampling of 4 varieties of wine, as listed and per diagram submitted, on
December 20, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and as provided for by Rule
2.13(e), exception to sample serving size of no more than 2 ounces of each
variety of wine equaling 8 ounces in total per customer is approved.

(2) MERRIMAN'S KAUAI: Approval of special request for temporary
increase of premises to include the Palm Court, per diagram submitted,
on December 4, 11, 18, 24 & 31, 2013 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on
December 20, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
(3) NANI MOON MEAD LLC: Approval of special request for temporary
decrease of premises from 1000 p.m. on December 12, 2013 to 2:00 a.m.
on December 13, 2013.
(4) OHANA SPORTS BAR & LIHUE PHO RESTAURANT: Approval of
special request to install one coin-operated pool table, per diagram
submitted.
(5) VERDE: Approval of special request to alter premises by removing
faux wall at the front counter and replacing counter with a new 9' bar
counter, per floor plan submitted.
(6) THE WINE SHOP: Approval of special request to conduct sampling of
4 varieties of wine, per list, on December 7, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. and as provided for by Rule 2.13(e), exception to sample serving
size of no more than 11/4 ounces of each variety of wine equaling 5
ounces in total per customer is approved.
(7) KAUAI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Approval of Application No.
Free 2014-25 filed on December 6, 2013 by the Kauai Chamber of
Commerce for a Free One-Day Special Retail Dealer Beer & Wine
license on December 12, 2013 at the Kauai Marriott Resort, Salon#1 of
the Kauai Ballroom, 3610 Rice Street, Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii.
(f) INFORMATIONAL MATTERS.
2. CHANGE IN CORPORTE OFFICER:
AGR, INC. (Brick Oven Pizza): Addition of Crista Aguano as Chief Financial
Officer.
3. EXTENSION IN TIME TO EXERCISE LICENSE:
PARADISE BAR & GRILL: Request 90-day extension to exercise Restaurant
General license which was approved on July 18, 2013.
4. TRANSFER OF LICENSE IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR:
BRICK OVEN PIZZA (KALAHEO): Pursuant to Section 281-41(a), request
permission to transfer Restaurant General License No. 2G-015 in less than one
year from its issuance on August 2, 2013.

5. TRANSFER OF LICENSE:
BRICK OVEN PIZZA: Application No. 2014-51 was filed on December 10, 2013
for transfer of Restaurant General License No. 2G-015 (live entertainment and
dancing, with conditions) from AGR, Inc. dba Brick Oven Pizza to Brick Oven
Pizza Kalaheo, Inc. dba Brick Oven Pizza located at 2-2555 Kaumualii Highway,
Kalaheo, Kauai, Hawaii. Deposited $275.
6. NEW LIQUOR LICENSES:
(a) KAUAI KOOKIE KITCHEN & BAKERY: Application No. 2014-47 was filed
on November 13, 2013 by Kauai Kookie LLC dba Kauai Kookie Kitchen &
Bakery for a Retail Dealer General license located at 2-2436 Kaumualii
Highway, Kalaheo, Kauai, Hawaii. Deposited $450.
(b) ART CAFE HEMINGWAY: Application No. 2014-49 was filed on
November 25, 2013 by Photo Art Hawaii LLC dba Art Cafe Hemingway for a
Restaurant General (no live entertainment and no dancing) license located
at 4-1495 Kuhio Highway, Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii. Deposited $450.
(c) OVER PAR: Application No. 2014-50 was filed on December 5, 2013 by
AGR, Inc. dba Over Par for a Restaurant General (live entertainment and
dancing) license located at 3-5350 Kuhio Highway, Wailua, Kauai, Hawaii.
Deposited $450.
7. ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR FOR 2014.
ADJOURNMENT.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. ("H.R.S.") §92-7(a), the
Commission may, when deemed necessary, hold an executive session on any agenda
item without written public notice if the executive session was not anticipated in
advance. Any such executive session shall be held pursuant to H.R.S. §92-4 and
shall be limited to those items described in H.R.S. §92-5(a).
