(Need wording) 2 . Certified Local Government (CLG) Status D. NEW BUSINESS I . E-mail ( 11 /25/13) from James Niermann, AICP, LEED AP, R. M. Towill Corporation request to present proposed modifications to the steel superstructure of the existing Lihu'e Mill Bridge. The proposed bridge modifications are part of the Kaumuali `i Highway, Lihu'e Mill Bridge to Rice Street, Federal Aid Project No. ARR-050- 1 (036) Improvements Project, and are subject to the National Historic Preservation Act (NHIPA), Section 106 Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) executed among Federal Highways Administration (FHWA), the State December 5, 2013 K.H.P.R.C. Agenda Page 2 Historic Preservation Division (SHPD) and HDOT-H . In compliance with Section 106 MOA, HDOT is seeking the KHPRC ' s comments and concurrence with the proposed modifications to the existing Lihu'e Mill Bridge. E. SELECTION OF NEXT MEETING DATE AND AGENDA TOPICS ( 1 /2/2014) F . ADJOURNMENT EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Commission may go into an executive session on an agenda item for one of the permitted purposes listed in Section 92-5(a) Hawaii Revised Statutes ("H.R.S."), without noticing the executive session on the agenda where the executive session was not anticipated in advance. HRS Section 92-7(a). The executive session may only be held, however, upon an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members present, which must also be the majority of the members to which the board is entitled. HRS Section 924. The reason for holding the executive session shall be publicly announced.
