In 2009 the Council adopted Ordinance No. 884 which prohibited the possession or consumption of any intoxicating liquor between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., at any County park o recreation facility provided that the provision would not apply to campers with valid camping permits. This section wa: inadvertently omitted in Ordinance No. 895. Therefore, the purpose of this bill is to reinstate the intoxicating liquor provision and apply it to all users of any County park or County recreationa facility. All interested persons who wish to present their comments may do so at the public hearing. Written testimonies prior to the hearing would be appreciated. Copies of the proposed resolution are available at the Office of the County Clerk, Council Services Division. (The Council Committee or Council may amend this Resolution at its subsequent meetings. Meeting notices are posted at least 6 days in advance at the County Clerk's Office and the public may also testify at any of these meetings.)
