B- 2012 -736, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUA'I, STATE OF HAWAII, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2012 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2013, BY REVISING THE AMOUNTS ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND AND THE SOLID WASTE FUND Pursuant to Sec. 19.07B and Sec. 19.10A of the Charter of the County of Kaua'i, as amended, this Bill proposes to amend the Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2012 -2013 by revising the amounts estimated in the General Fund and the Solid Waste Fund, by appropriating $3,274,660.00 to the Solid Waste Fund from the General Fund - Reserve Fund. This appropriation is necessary to fund the current shortage in the Solid Waste Assigned Fund Balance as a result of an over estimation of the "Unappropriated Surplus" in Ordinance No. B- 2012 -736. All interested persons who wish to present their comments may do so at the public hearing. Written testimonies prior to the hearing would be appreciated.
