This Bill would provide the Chief of Police and the Director of Parks & Recreation, or their designees, with authority to issue citations and charges for an abandoned vehicle, and allow for the disposal of an abandoned vehicle in accordance with Chapter 290, Hawai'i Revised Statutes. All interested persons who wish to present their comments may do so at the public hearing. Written testimonies prior to the hearing would be appreciated. Copies of the proposed bill is available at the Office of the County Clerk, Council Services Division. (The Council Committee or Council may amend this bill at its subsequent meetings.
