LONNIE SYKOS: For the record my name is Lonnie Sykos.
Unfortunately, I cannot stay for the whole meeting today. I would like to start by
saying that I support the creation of an Adolescent Treatment Facility here on
Kaua`i. I would like to thank all of the people involved in both the State
government and the private side of it. It is something that we desperately need and
I am very grateful that despite all of the hurdles that have to be leaped, that the
people are continuing to push forward and hopefully we will have a center here in
the next year or two (2).
