Chock, Sr. Honorable Gary L. Hooser Honorable Ross Kagawa Honorable Mel Rapozo Honorable JoAnn A. Yukimura Excused: Honorable Jay Furfaro Minutes of the May 21, 2014 Committee of the Whole Meeting. Upon motion duly made by Councilmember Kagawa, seconded by Councilmember Yukimura, and carried by a vote of 6:0:1 (Committee Chair Furfaro was excused), the Minutes of the May 21, 2014 Committee of the Whole Meeting was approved. Minutes of the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Deliberation and Preliminary Decision- Making. Upon motion duly made by Councilmember Kagawa, seconded by Councilmember Chock and carried by a vote of 6:0:1 (Committee Chair Furfaro was excused), the Minutes of the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Deliberation and Preliminary Decision-Making was approved. The Committee proceeded on its agenda item, as follows: Bill No. 2497, Draft 1 A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE TO CHAPTER 4, RELATING TO THE REGISTRATION AND REGULATION OF LOBBYISTS (This item was deferred to July 2, 2014.) COW COMMITTEE 2 JUNE 4, 2014 Mr. Rapozo: Mr. Furfaro has asked that we defer this because he is not able to be here today and I will entertain a motion to defer. I would like to ask for public testimony because that is required. Seeing none, I will entertain a motion to defer. Upon motion duly made by Councilmember Kagawa, seconded by Councilmember Yukimura, and carried by a vote of 6:0:1 (Committee Chair Furfaro was excused), Bill No. 2497, Draft 1, was deferred.
