CALL TO ORDER B. APPROVAL OF AGENDA C. ANNOUNCEMENTS D. COMMISSION SITE VISITS 615 FES -4 1110:12 �.:.::. ea- Recess and continuation of meeting for excursion to the west side and south shore areas to view areas of community interest identified through the community input process as well as to become familiar with coastal and cultural resources in this area. There will be no decision making by the Commission. The excursion will leave the Lihue Civic Center at approximately 8:30 a.m. and proceed to the following locations: • CGBIEvslin Property (TMK: 1 -3 -005 -040, 053, 054) Kekaha Approximately 9:30 a.m. —10:15 a.m, or shortly thereafter • Salt Pond Beach Park (Stop on Kaw- nualii Highway looking down) Approximately 10:45 a.m. —10:50 a.m. or shortly thereafter • Omao Property (TMK: 2- 7- 004 -002) off Omao Road Approximately 11:15 a.m. — 11:40 a.m. or shortly thereafter • Lawai Kai Beach Access Koloa Approximately 12:15 p.m. — 12:40 p.m. or shortly thereafter • Wahi Pana Ella (TMK: 2 -8- 031 -199) Poipu Estates Subdivision Approximately 1:25 p.m. — 1:50 p.m. or shortly thereafter • Kaneiolouma Heiau Complex Poipu Beach Park (Nukumoi Surf Shop) Approximately 2:05 p.m. — 2:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter VA 2014 Master Files \Couunissions \0pen Space \Agendas\2015 -2 -12 Public testimony will not be taken during the excursion. The public may submit written comments to the Open Space Commission, c/o the Planning Department, 4444 Rice Street, Suite A473, Lihue, HI 96766, and is also invited to attend the Open Space Commission's February 26, 2015 meeting. Transportation will not be provided for interested parties. E. NEXT MEETING DATE AND AGENDA TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION F. ADJOURNMENT EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Commission may go into executive session on an agenda item for one of the permitted purposes listed in Section 92 -5(a) Hawai`i Revised Statutes ( "HRS "), without noticing the executive session on the agenda where the executive session was not anticipated in advance. HRS Section 92 -7(a). The executive session may only be held, however, upon an affirmative vote of two - thirds of the members present, which must also be the majority of the members to which the board is entitled. HRS Section 92 -4. The reason for holding the executive session shall be publicly announced.
