(Deferred on 12/21/2016) CSW 2016-13 Continued discussion and possible action to approve a draft resolution that supports the principles of eliminating all forms of discrimination against women and working with the Council for its passage. (Deferred on 12/21/2016) CSW 2016-14 Continued discussion and action for the following upcoming 2017 events: 1. Career Day (confirm date, time, venue, speakers, school contacts, sponsors, etc.) 2. March Women's History Month (confirm speakers, program and advertisement) An Equal Opportunity Employer CSW 2016-16: Discussion on allocating funds in the Committee's budget (Deferred on 1212112016) CSW 2016-17: Discussion and possible action on forming a permitted interaction committee to respond and act on state Legislative bills during the 2017 legislature session. (Deferred on 1212112016) CSW 2016-18: Discussion on assigning a committee member to be the liaison between the Committee on the Status of Women and the Kauai Planning & Action Alliance. EXECUTIVE SESSION Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes, H.R.S. §92-7(a), the Committee may, when deemed necessary, hold an Executive Session on any agenda item without the written public notice if the Executive Session was not anticipated in advance. Any such Executive Session shall be held pursuant to H.R.S. §92-4 and shall be limited to those items described in H.R.S. §92-5(a). Discussions held in Executive Session are closed to the public.
