Flash Flood Warning for Kaua‘i cancelled
Some closures remain in effect
LĪHU‘E – The National Weather Service has cancelled the Flash Flood Warning for the
island of Kaua‘i.
Kūhiō Highway near the Hanalei Bridge remains closed as of this writing. An update will
be sent out when new information is received.
The following green waste sites remain closed - Hanalei, Kapa‘a, and Hanapēpē. The
metals and tire collection sites are also closed at Hanapēpē. Although these closures are
expected to last throughout the day, services will be restored when conditions improve.
