County to participate in USDA Summer Food Service Program
LĪHU'E – The Kaua'i County Department of Parks and Recreation announced that it will
be participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Summer Food Service Program
from June 13 to July 21.
The meals will be provided to all children at no charge regardless of race, color, national
origin, sex, age or disability. No discrimination will be shown in the course of the meal service.
The meals will be provided at the following sites:
Hanapēpē Neighborhood Center, 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center, 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.
Kekaha Neighborhood Center, 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Kīlauea Neighborhood Center, 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
King Kaumuali‘i Elementary School, 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.
Kōloa Elementary School, 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Līhu'e Neighborhood Center, 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Wilcox Elementary School, 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
If you feel that you experienced discrimination while participating in this summer food
service program, you can complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-
3027, which can be found online at http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html or you
can pick up the form at any USDA office.
A discrimination complaint may also be filed by writing a letter to the USDA that contains
all of the information requested in the complaint form. Or you could request a copy of the
complaint form by calling the toll free number, 866-632-9992.
The completed form can be sent to the USDA via the following options. You can:
