Housing Agency to hold community meeting on Koa‘e, July 13
Po‘ipū - In preparation for Koa‘e, a new Workforce Housing project to be located
in Po‘ipū, the Kaua‘i County Housing Agency and its development partner Mark
Development will hold an open community meeting on Thursday, July 13, from 6 p.m. to
8 p.m. at the Kōloa Neighborhood Center located at 3461 Weliweli Road, Kōloa.
The meeting will offer information on Koa‘e, the proposed design for the project,
details of the site location and information on how to apply for tenancy. When
completed, Koa‘e will be comprised of 134 units with a mix of one, two, and three
bedroom units. To reside at Koa‘e, applicants are required to have a household income
that does not exceed 60 percent of Kaua‘i’s Area Median Income:

Koa‘e is targeted to break ground in 2018 and is expected to take two years for
full buildout.
