Firefighters remain at scene of Po‘ipū brush fire
POIPU – Firefighters are responding to a brush fire that broke out in Po‘ipū on Sunday
afternoon.
No injuries have been reported and no roads or structures are being threatened at this
time.
Multiple units were dispatched at approximately 12:45 p.m. to an open field located on
the mauka-side of the dirt roads that lead to Mahaulepu.
Air 1 and two private helicopters are assisting firefighters in controlling the blaze.
Updates will be given as new information becomes available.
