Kapa‘a man arrested for burglary
LĪHU‘E – Kaua‘i police arrested a Kapa‘a man on Monday morning in connection with a
burglary at a Kapa‘a music store.
Jeremy Ewing, age 35, was arrested for Burglary in the second degree.
Shortly after 5 a.m. on Monday, police responded to a building alarm at Larry’s Music in
Kapa‘a, and discovered the glass door damaged and two electric guitars stolen.
Video surveillance helped police identify the suspect as Ewing, who was located near
the scene.
The two stolen electric guitars were recovered during the arrest. Ewing is currently being
held at Kaua‘i Community Correctional Center with bail set at $10,000.
The investigation remains ongoing.
