Managing Director DEPARTMENT OF PARKS & RECREATION News Release For Immediate Release: November 29, 2017 LENNY RAPOZO, DIRECTOR Tel (808) 241-4460 Fax (808) 241-5126 Life Champion Bowl set for Saturday LĪHU‘E – The County of Kaua‘i’s Department of Parks and Recreation is announcing that the fourth annual Life Champion Bowl will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Vidinha Stadium. An annual football game that supports outstanding high school football athletes from across the state, the Life Champion Bowl starts at 11 a.m. with gates open for the public at 10 a.m. Admission is $10 for patrons 12 and older; $5 for children 11 and under; and $5 for seniors 60 and older. “Mahalo to the Hawai‘i Football Club, Keala and Celeste Pule, for organizing this bowl and providing this opportunity to our high school seniors here,” said Mayor Bernard P. Carvalho Jr. Mahalo to the game’s major sponsors: Motiv8 Foundation; Tyson Alualu (St. Louis graduate who’s now with the Pittsburgh Steelers); Courtyard Kaua‘i at Coconut Beach; R&L ‘Ohana; Wa‘alani Enterprises; OHA; and the County of Kaua‘i.
