Police operation leads to 12 arrests
LĪHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Department’s Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (FAST)
conducted a special mission of the Līhu‘e area on Monday, which led to multiple arrests.
During the operation, 12 subjects were arrested for 14 warrants, totaling $23,800 in bail.
The warrants served included Contempt of Court charges in Circuit and District Court, arrest
warrants for Abuse of Family or Household Member, Felony Drug Informational Charging
warrants, and Parole/Probation Violation warrants.
“Our FAST team officers continue to focus on apprehending wanted fugitives and I
commend them for their successful efforts,” said Kaua‘i Police Chief Darryl Perry. “In order to
avoid arrest, we urge all individuals wanted on outstanding warrants to turn themselves in.”
