Drug investigation leads to arrest of Kīlauea man
KĪLAUEA – A 36-year-old Kīlauea man was arrested on Friday following a drug
investigation conducted by the Kaua‘i Police Department, which led to the seizure of illegal
drugs, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.
Based on an ongoing investigation, officers were granted a search warrant on a Kīlauea
residence Friday morning. The search led to the recovery of approximately 0.7 grams of
methamphetamine, 1,013 grams of marijuana, various drug paraphernalia, approximately
$1,634 in U.S. currency, and a loaded .22 caliber rifle.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, the home’s occupant Sebastian
Sparrowhawk was subsequently arrested for Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the third degree,
Promoting a Detrimental Drug in the second degree, and two counts of Ownership or
Possession Prohibited.
He is currently being held in police cellblock with bail set at $30,000.
No one was injured during the operation.
The case remains an ongoing investigation.
