Managing Director KAUA‘I POLICE DEPARTMENT News Release For Immediate Release: February 22, 2017 DARRYL PERRY, CHIEF Tel (808) 241-1600 Fax (808) 241-1604 Līhu‘e man arrested for alleged sexual assault of a minor LĪHU'E – Kaua‘i police have arrested a 37-year-old Līhu‘e man suspected of sexually assaulting a minor. Michael J. Terui was indicted by the grand jury on Thursday, Feb. 16 for two counts of sexual assault and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. Police located Terui at his Līhu‘e home on Wednesday morning. He was booked at police headquarters and later released on $100,000 bail. The investigation remains ongoing and Kaua‘i police have reason to believe there could be more victims involved in separate incidents.
