The following meetings have been scheduled: Monday, April 30, from 6 to 8 p.m., at K61oa Neighborhood Center located at 3461 Weliweli Road in Koloa; • Wednesday, May 2, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Anahola Clubhouse located at 3900 Kawelo Street in Anahola; and • Thursday, May 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Hanalei Elementary School located at 5-5415 Kuhi6 Highway in Hanalei. Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr., the County of Kaua'i, state, federal, and community partners will give an update on emergency relief efforts, status on infrastructure in and around the affected communities, and information on upcoming recovery plans and available resources. "While the majority of our immediate relief efforts have been focused on helping our isolated residents in Wainiha and Ha'ena, we have not forgotten the surrounding communities who have also suffered immensely from last week's flood," said Mayor Carvalho. "I am committed to bridging our resources together to help our entire island heal and recover."
