Managing Director DARRYL PERRY, CHIEF Tel (808) 241-1600 Fax (808) 241-1604 Police investigate bomb threat at Kauai Community College LIHU`E — An evacuation of Kauai Community College (KCC) was initiated Thursday morning following a report of a bomb threat. No bombs or explosives were found and no injuries were reported. Two anonymous calls were made to KCC's One Stop Center at approximately 11 a.m. Thursday. Police were notified of the incident at about 11:10 a.m. and were on campus roughly five minutes later. KPD patrol officers, detectives and personnel aboard Air 1 responded to investigate the threat of explosives, but nothing was found. Officers cleared the scene shortly after 1:30 p.m. Police are continuing to investigate this incident to identify any person(s) that may have been involved.
