Kuhio Highway closed following critical car crash
WAILUA — Kuhio Highway in Wailua, south of the south entrance to Leho Drive, has
been closed in both directions due to a critical traffic crash that occurred shortly before 6 a.m.
Saturday.
Southbound traffic is currently being diverted through the Wailua Cane Haul Road.
The highway may be closed for an extended period of time while traffic investigators are
on scene conducting a full investigation.
Details of the crash are not yet know.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
Updates will be given as new information becomes available.
