Emergency water service shutdown for customers located on Keapana Road,
Makamaka Road and a portion of Hauaala Road in Kapaa
KAPAA — The Department of Water (DOW) announces an emergency water service shutdown
for customers located on Makamaka Road, Keapana Road and along a portion of Hauaala Road;
between Kolohala Road and Keapana Road in Kapaa. Water services were turned off around
2:45 p.m. this afternoon in response to a 6-inch mainline break in the Kapaa water system.
Water service is expected to be turned off for approximately 4 to 6 hours in order to conduct
the emergency repairs.
An update will be provided as new information becomes available.
