However, a Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the island. A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Kuhio Highway remains closed in the vicinity of H5'ena Beach Park and the Dry Cave due to rushing waters. A "Road Flooded" sign and cones have been posted in the area. The Kaua'i Police Department are reporting heavy traffic and are advising motorists to avoid the area. Please exercise caution on the roadways and please stay tuned to local media for updates.
