"Do not drink" advisory lifted for customers located along a portion of
Kuhio Highway in Haena
HAENA—The Department of Water (DOW) has lifted the "Do not drink" advisory for residents located along
a portion of Kuhio Highway; between Manoa Stream and the Limahuli Stream area in Haena as of 11 a.m.
today, April 21, 2018. Customers may resume normal water use. DOW has completed the water quality
assessments to confirm that the water quality is safe for drinking and in compliance with safe drinking water
standards. There are no other water quality advisories reported for DOW systems at this time.
DOW crews will continue to conduct damage assessments, routine water samplings, maintenance and
repairs of all DOW systems island -wide. Updates that may affect water services will be issued as new
information becomes available.
