DOW announces new window service hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
effective June 1, 2018
LIHUE - The Department of Water (DOW) announces new window services hours of operation for
its Fiscal and Engineering services from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, except holidays,
effective June 1, 2018.
The new window service hours will only affect services that may require customers and visitors
to walk-in to DOW offices for business. Customers can still contact DOW offices by phone during
normal business hours, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, except holidays.
The 15-minute time adjustment from its current window service hours; 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.,
will provide the appropriate time allotment for staff to complete internal operating and billing
procedures before the close of business day.
Additionally, a payment drop box accepting check payments, will continue to be accessible to
customers 24-hours a day and is centrally located in the DOW's parking lot located at 4398 Pua
Loke Street in Lihu'e.
