Further dates will be announced at a later time. • DRC at Hanalei Elementary School Cafeteria — 5-5415 Kuhio Highway, Hanalei o Services: FEMA Individual Assistance registration/intake; Small Business Administration (SBA); state and county agencies o Days: Open daily (starting Friday, June 29) o Times: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. *In observance of Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4, the Hanalei DRC will have modified hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. • RIC at K61oa Elementary School Humanities Room — 3223 Po'ipu Road, K61oa o Services: FEMA Individual Assistance registration/intake; SBA; county agencies o Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (starting Friday, June 29) o Times: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 0 RIC at Kapa'a Elementary School Cafeteria — 4886 Kawaihau Road, Kapa'a o Services: FEMA Individual Assistance registration/intake; Small Business Administration (SBA); county agencies o Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (starting Sunday, July 1) o Times: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. *In observance of Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4, the Kapa`a RIC will have modified hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Days and times for the above schedule may change after July 7. "The upcoming opening of our Disaster Recovery Centers is a huge success for our island," stated Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. "Our residents have been waiting a long time for this, and our county team has worked diligently to seek every resource and opportunity available. I strongly recommend anyone affected by April's devastating flood to visit a DRC or RIC in your area." The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Hanalei will be a readily accessible facility where flood survivors may go to register for FEMA Individual Assistance programs, SBA loan assistance, and other disaster assistance programs from state and county agencies and community organizations. Representatives will be stationed at the DRC to answer questions and provide further assistance on low -interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters and businesses. The Individual Assistance Registration Intake Centers (RIC) in Kapa`a and Koloa will be facilities where survivors may register for FEMA Individual Assistance programs, and SBA loan assistance. County officials will also be stationed at the RICs to answer any questions on programs such as expedited permitting and real property tax assessments. To register for FEMA Individual Assistance or for more information on FEMA programs, residents may visit any DRC location, call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or visit www.disasterassistance.gov. Applicants should have the following information readily available: • Social Security number; • Address of the damaged primary residence; • Description of the damage; • Insurance information; • A current contact telephone number; An address where they can receive mail; and • Bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit of funds.
