Road closures for annual Concert in the Sky
LIHU'E — The 29th Annual Kauai Hospice "Concert in the Sky" is scheduled for
Wednesday, July 4, from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Vidinha Stadium Soccer Field in Lihu'e.
To accommodate the event, the Kaua'i Police Department will close off Kaua'i Veterans
Memorial Highway (from Ahukini Road to Rice Street), and Rice Street (from Kauai Veterans
Memorial Highway to Ho'olako Street), throughout the duration of the fireworks show, which is
tentatively scheduled to begin at 8:15 p.m.
At the conclusion of the fireworks show, officers will be directing traffic out of the stadium
parking lot until approximately 10:30 p.m.
During this time, Kauai Veterans Memorial Highway will be northbound only from Ka'ana
Street, and southbound only from Halau Street. Ho'olako Street will be southbound only, from
Vidinha Stadium to Rice Street.
Motorists should allow additional time to get to their destinations as traffic delays are
expected.

at approximately 8:15 p.m.
At the conclusion of the fireworks show, traffic will be limited to the following routes until approximately 10:30 p.m. Map below is not to scale.
