HANALEI — The public is advised that the Hanalei refuse transfer station will not accept

Only bagged trash will be accepted until further notice while equipment repairs are
underway.
All other recycling services will not be affected including green waste, scrap metals,
appliances, propane tanks, used tires, residential recycling drop bins, and residential used

As a reminder, refuse collection services for residents affected by the April flood in the

The Solid Waste division will continue to provide the following services:
• Refuse collection services will continue on Sundays. Refuse collectors will accept
bagged trash as well as trash in carts set at the county right of way in front of all
households.
• A solid waste staging area at Kepuhi Point will be open to residents and businesses for
drop-off of source -separated waste, including bulky items, green waste, tires, metals,
