All HI-5 redemption centers are closed Thursday, August 2
The public is advised that redemption centers operated by Reynolds Recycling in Lihu`e,
in N5wiliwili Harbor at the corner of Wilcox Street, and in Kapahi, on Kawaihau Road behind
the Menehune Food Mart are closed today, August 2.
On Friday, Aug. 3, Reynolds sites will resume normal operating hours, from Tuesday
through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a break for lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m.
The HI-5 redemption locations operated by KCRS are temporarily closed and are
expected reopen on Tuesday, August 7. The normal operating days and hours for KCRS sites
are shown below:
• Kekaha, Kekaha Road, across from the old mill — Wednesday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4
p.m.;
• K61oa, 2810 Po`ipu Road, next to the fire station — Thursday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4
p.m.;
• Kapa`a, 962 Kipuni Way, Arzadon Industrial Park — Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4
p.m.; and
• Kilauea, 5-2723 Kuhio Highway, behind Kauai Mini Golf — Tuesday and Friday, 8 a.m. to
4 p.m.
