Managing Director LYLE TABATA, ACTING COUNTY ENGINEER Tel (808) 241-4996 Fax (808) 241-6604 KCRS HI-5 redemption centers closed today The public is advised that the HI-5 redemption centers operated by Kaua'i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) in Kilauea at Kaua'i Mini Golf, and Kapa'a in Arzadon Industrial Park are closed today, Aug. 7. KCRS sites are expected to reopen Wednesday, Aug. 8. Normal operating days and hours for KCRS sites are as follows: • Kekaha, Kekaha Road, across from the old mill —Wednesday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; • Koloa, 2810 Po`ipu Road, next to the fire station — Thursday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; • Kapa'a, 962 Kipuni Way, Arzadon Industrial Park — Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and • Kilauea, 5-2723 Kuhio Highway, behind Kaua'i Mini Golf — Tuesday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those who wish to redeem their HI-5 beverage containers today are encouraged to visit the redemption centers operated by Reynolds Recycling: • Uhu'e, in N5wiliwili Harbor at the corner of Wilcox Street; and 0 Kapahi, on Kawaihau Road behind the Menehune Food Mart. Both sites are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a break for lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m. We apologize for the inconvenience.
