Senior survey runs through Aug. 31
LIHU'E — The County of Kaua'i Agency on Elderly Affairs is conducting a senior survey
to determine the current needs of seniors and identify the unmet needs in the community
through Aug. 31.
The survey is part of the agency's 4-year Area Plan on Aging for 2019-2023, and will
serve as a planning and compliance document that enables the County of Kaua'i to receive
federal funds under the Older Americans Act, through the Administration on Community Living
and the State Executive Office on Aging.
"The senior survey is one way for the Agency to learn about the needs of KauaTs
seniors and look at ways in which we can provide support and future services," said Kealoha
Takahashi, Executive on Aging.
If you are a resident 60 years or older, the Agency would greatly appreciate you taking a
few moments to complete the senior survey. You can find it on the County of Kaua'i website at
www.kauai.ciov/Elderly or www.kauaiadre.o
If you don't have access to a computer, the Agency has paper forms available at its
office in the Lihu'e Civic Center, 4444 Rice Street, Pi'ikoi Building, Suite 330, or by calling 241-
4470.
