Managing Director ALDEN ALAYVILLA, PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER Tel (808) 241-4909 Fax (808) 241-6877 Community meeting on drug addiction set for Sept. 18 KAPA`A — The Mayor's Advisory Committee for Treatment and Community Integration will host "Drug Addiction 101," a community meeting at Kapa'a Missionary Church on Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Attendees will hear from Dr. Gerald McKenna of the McKenna Recovery Center (Ke Ala Pono). Dr. McKenna will share his expertise and experiences in addressing addiction and dependency issues. Following the presentation, members of the community may participate in discussions to determine individual concerns. Supportive agencies will also be on site to answer questions and provide resource information.
