County announces holiday closures
LIHU`E — In observance of General Election Day, County of Kauai offices will be closed
on Tuesday, Nov. 6, along with all refuse transfer stations as well as the Kapa`a and Waimea
swimming pools.
In addition, all of the neighborhood centers and the County of Kauai Sunshine Markets
will be closed on General Election Day.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. The Kekaha Landfill
will also be open from 8 to 10:30 a.m. for commercial businesses and the public.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. All HI-5 bottle
redemption centers normally open on Tuesdays will be open. See www.kauai.gov/hi5 for
locations and hours of operation.

The Kauai Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on the holiday.
Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Wednesday, Nov.
