DAHILIG, MANAGING DIRECTOR C on News Release For Immediate Release: December 11, 2018 OFFICE OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ROBBIE MELTON, DIRECTOR Tel (808) 241-4946 Fax (808) 241-6399 Kauai Made Holly Jolly Holiday Fair set for Dec. 15 LIHU`E — The public is invited to attend the Kauai Made Holly Jolly Holiday Fair on Dec. 15 at the front parking lot of the former Kmart store, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will be able to shop for locally -made products, enjoy local entertainment, get their gifts wrapped, visit with Santa, as well as enlist the help of a Kauai Made holiday helper who will offer gift ideas. A create -a -gift station provided by Home Depot will also be available for children. The first 50 shoppers who show their Holly Jolly Kauai Made gift receipt at the Kauai Made booth will receive a free canvas bag. Also, all patrons who purchase Kauai Made products from this fair will receive a free luggage tag. The Kauai Made program was launched by the county in 2006 with support from the Hawaii Tourism Authority. The aim of the program is to provide locally -made products with more visibility and encourage production of value-added agricultural products. A wide range of these products are available through the program including apparel and accessories, artwork, crafts, food, floral, health and beauty, jewelry, publications and more.
